MISSION STATEMENT

Web-Co Custom Industries, Inc. is a community-based
organization dedicated to providing paid, meaningful
employment opportunities for people with disabilities in
a safe, supportive and productive environment, which allows
each person to achieve their potential and become as
self-sufficient as possible.

WEB-CO HISTORY

Web-Co Custom Industries was incorporated May 1977, due to the efforts of a
group of parents and concerned citizens who recognized the need to provide
training and dignified employment opportunities to people with disabilities.
May of 1995, saw the beginning work on a new and much larger facility
for the workshop and in December of 1997, operations moved to this new
building at 948 Prairie Lane. With the larger facility, we were able to hire
more people and there are now over 81 employees here at Web-Co.
Web-Co is a community based program operated by a local board of directors
made up of caring dedicated individuals. We have been fortunate over the years
to have people serve on this board who are responsive to the needs of citizens
with disabilities. Their vision and guidance have assured Web-Co's success.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to and from the workshop is provided for those in need
of this service. We have three company buses which transport employees
from Fordland, Seymour, Diggins, Rader, Niangua, and north of Marshfield.
Bus fare is paid for several employees to use the local City Bus Service.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Web-Co has been successful in obtaining contracts with local businesses
and manufacturers which include work opportunities in mechanical and manual assembly,
custom packaging, shrink wrap, collating, informational materials, machine operation,
product and package labeling, and product manufacturing.
Since 1999 Web-Co has worked with the JWOD program doing sewing jobs for the Department of Defense
We offer vocational training and employment to qualifying indviduals and through
our cooperative training program with the school systems in Webster County, provide
job readiness training to students prior to graduation.
